GITEX Global 2021 Dubai Round-up: Codebase Technologies, RoboAds, Microsoft For Startups and More


GITEX Global is one of the biggest tech events in the world that took place from the 17th-21st October at Dubai World Trade Centre. GITEX brought together global industry leaders, startups and game-changers to unveil the future.

The 41st edition of the event saw the participation of over 3,500 exhibitors from over 140 countries and brings together innovators in artificial intelligence, 5G, Cloud, cybersecurity, blockchain, fintech and more. These themes are explored across six events – Gitex Global, Ai Everything, Gitex Future Stars, the Future Blockchain Summit, Fintech Surge and Marketing Mania – which come together to showcase the technology sector. 

During the event, Richie Santosdiaz of The Fintech Times caught up with a number of thought leaders from various companies to learn more about their offerings and their thoughts on the fintech industry.

Microsoft for Startups MEA has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to develop and launch specialised regional programs to complement the global Microsoft for Startups program and strengthen the regional entrepreneurship ecosystem. These specialised regional programs include Microsoft’s GrowthX Accelerator and the Highway to 100 Unicorns Virtual Conference

Faysal ElChamaa, RoboAds 

Faysal ElChamaa is the founder and CEO of RoboAds, a US startup that develops and markets robotics, IOT and AI solutions. RoboAds has developed the world’s first advertising and telepresence robot and has recently joined the Nvidia Inception program to further expand developments in machine vision, deep learning and AI solutions that have real world applications and benefits.
